Dr. Xinyue Zhang
DirectorDr. Zhang leads AIPO Lab and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Kennesaw State University. Her research encompasses cybersecurity, privacy‑preserving machine learning and quantum computing. She mentors students and fosters an inclusive research environment.

Nazmus Shakib Shadin
Ph.D. Student (Fall 2024 – Present)Shadin joined the lab in Fall 2024 as a Ph.D. student. He works on federated learning process enhancement in heterogeneous environments using knowledge distillation, explainable techniques, and personalized federated learning.

Aaron Cummings
Ph.D. Student (Spring 2025 – Present)Aaron joined in Spring 2025 after completing his M.S. at KSU. He works on LLM model enhancement and LLM-based architecture development for advanced AI systems.
