Dr. Zhang leads AIPO Lab and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Kennesaw State University. Her research encompasses cybersecurity, privacy‑preserving machine learning and quantum computing. She mentors students and fosters an inclusive research environment.

Shadin joined the lab in Fall 2024 as a Ph.D. student. He works on federated learning process enhancement in heterogeneous environments using knowledge distillation, explainable techniques, and personalized federated learning.

Aaron joined in Spring 2025 after completing his M.S. at KSU. He works on LLM model enhancement and LLM-based architecture development for advanced AI systems.
Shafin joined the lab in Fall 2025. His academic background is in computer science, and he will focus on privacy‑preserving AI and optimisation.
Mohammad is a final year undergraduate student working with the AIPO Lab. He is passionate about artificial intelligence and privacy-preserving technologies.
